- I like craft – especially random sewing (soft toys/customising clothes), messing about with paper/card, fimo (sculpting clay), computer art, getting glue all over myself, doodling, dolls house and miniatures, origami, kirigami, other stuff I can’t think of right now
- I love computers - i think they’re brill – i use the internet loads – games (pogo/neopets), email, keepin up with the news, study and research (mental health/God/craft/other stuff), inspiration (craft blogs/google/etsy) – designing images, craft patterns, cards and gifts using paint, microsoft word and paintshoppro7 (free but fab) – how did i ever get by without computers?
- I’m very interested in mental health – anything to do with mental health - psychosis, personality disorders, self harm, eating disorders, medication, therapeutic approaches, all things recovery oriented, dissociation, trauma, etc etc etc
[Studying mental health nursing, Coventry University, Sept 07 - Sept 10]
- I really love my friends and family – the people currently keeping me relatively sane include (but aren’t limited to) my housemate Em, the Burnetts brigade, Michelle and Kay (oops made them sound like a couple!), my lovely neice Leah (who is 8 and really rather fun to be around) and a few others I won’t list by name. I love my friends. A lot.
- I love God – there are lots of things that confuse me about God and the bible and i have so many questions that i don’t know if i’ll ever find answers to but i’m pretty sure in my own heart and mind that Jesus is where it’s at – my faith (and often lack of it) is central to who i am and the big and little decisions i make day in and day out
- My home is fab - i love my home – i love being here in it – it’s the one place i can really be myself and make sure i get what i need – whether i need to chill out, exercise, create, cry, eat chocolate or whatever else – i am very lucky to have a craft room aswell as my own bedroom and a housemate who is also my best friend so it’s generally fairly peaceful around here
- That’s about it!

I think we’re the lucky ones to know you. You keep us sane, whatever that maybe.
Maybe it goes both ways
Yeah I did wonder when I used the word sane whether i was overstreching things a bit! That’s why i added relatively!
