CPR Teddy

A few days ago, in preparation for my OSCE exam, I practiced CPR on my fluffy old faithful friend Randolph. Blogged here.

This message attracted a rather interesting response about CPR Teddy: “CPR TeddyTM is the latest innovation in CPR practice aids! Parents, babysitters, teachers and other child care providers can now practice their Infant or Child CPR and Choking Rescue Skills with this practical and adorable bear.”

Apparently you can teach toddlers CPR using it! If you are at all interested, this is CPR Teddy’s personal website: http://cprteddy.blogspot.com/2007/06/cpr-teddy-basics.html

Church, Nativity, Crafting, that sort of thing….

2117670740_466e3e4f74.jpg

Went to church yesterday. Sat at the back. Made myself a little craft table and finished the gift boxes during the carols. Managed to get them all done and even got houses finished for Pam and Phil, Pauline, and Graham. I was pretty chuffed with them. I made a little tiny one for Angele. Didn’t have much stuff for a baby so I stuck a balloon in with a big acid house smiley face and the words ‘God loves you’, a pack of chocolate buttons and some thomas the tank engine bubbles. All good fun.

I stopped for the nativity which was really good. There aren’t many kids so there were a few costume changes! At one point there was a Shepherd who still had a donkey’s tail pinned to her tights. No photo’s. Not sure of the legalities of taking pics of other people’s kids nowadays. Did manage to snap the baby Jesus though :-)

Christmassy goodness….

Got my act together this afternoon and made up the boxes. Didn’t take too long. Haven’t quite finished so I” either do some before church or I’ll finish them off there! I really like how they’ve turned out. I think the kids will like them. If not, I’ve really enjoyed making them ;-)

Now I really am just avoiding finishing off the essays! I think I’ve got enough now! Tomorrow I’ll start making them up :-)

More christmas houses. I really like these designs. Maybe these for Kate and Sally at sunday school. Been buying a few sweets to go in them. And balloons. Might make one for Leah aswell.

Good old paintshop pro 7. Lola Christmas Houses ready for Sunday School on Sunday. I’m going to fill them with all sorts of little bits and pieces. Hopefully, I’ll have time to make all the kids a different one each. Might make one for Pauline and one for Graham aswell :-) Probably not Lola though!

An unexpected surprise! My mum rang on Friday night and said Jade, Josh and Riley were in Coventry for the weekend. Can’t believe how much Riley’s grown. Has it been 6 months already???

This is the last time I saw her!

We all passed our OSCEs with flying colours!
